In the beginning God set forth a path of marriage called – the perfect pairing of God. It was Adam and Eve. It was a man and a woman. It was order and joy. It was justice and love.
It was a set pattern whereby God established a way of marriage partnership. It was not ad hoc or by chance. It was a pairing of highest order and honor and reflected the genius of God by way of designing two people who were very alike (after their own seed) in their personalities, calls, gifts and mantles. God created them in His own image. (Gen 1:12; 27)
DOES GOD CARE ABOUT WHO I MARRY?
WHAT ABOUT DATING OTHERS AND MISSING MY SOUL MATE?
1. Adam and Eve were created for each other. And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him.” (Gen 2:18) God created a soul mate for each person. All of His Creation reflected an “after their own seed” quality. Alikeness. Alignment. In an image after God, but also some reflection of each other.
Do soul mates always get together? No. Why not?
Impatience.
Disobedience.
Deception.
Not inquiring of the Lord.
Missing their marks.
Sin.
Distraction.
Loneliness to move with wrong person.
Moving out of time and season.
Pursuing avenues of lust.
Not discerning God’s best plan for your destiny.
Not knowing oneself and one’s destiny or calls, gifts, and mantles.
Interference.
The devil will attempt interference measures to mess up God’s divine order in dating and marriage. Is it not extremely vital that alignments be made in marriage relationships? The enemy knows that if he can mess up the divine path of soul mates in dating and marrying, he can mess up destinies and generational lines in certain moderate or massive aspects.
To marry one’s soul mate is God’s perfect will and the highest order of union next to Christ and the Bride. It will raise each couple to the highest level in Christ as they submit to God and His order.

Prov 4:23 – Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.
Amos 3:3 – How can two walk together unless they agree?
Ps 1:1-6 – Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the Law of the Lord, (Word) and who meditates on His Law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither – whatever they do prospers. v4 Not so with the wicked! (unbelievers) They are chaff that the wind blows away. Therefore, the wicked will not stand in judgment (bearing sound mind to judge right from wrong) nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.
2 Cor 6:14-18 – Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? (Satan) Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the Living God. As God said: “I will live with them and walk with them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.” Therefore, “Come out from them and be SEPARATE, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” And, “I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”
Believers dating unbelievers is not God’s will.
1. They have uncommon – different belief systems.
2. They will operate from a different center, source and guidance station.
3. They will see differences that cause conflict and injustice, lack and disorder.
4. They will have areas that are ownerous and in disarray, disorder and dishonor if God is not the common center in dating.
5. The home base will have two different systems that are at odds if one is a believer and one is not. This is a position in which the marriage, home, and family will not be of one heart and mind. This is not the will of God.
6. If a spouse is saved after the marriage, and the other is not, it is God’s counsel to remain in marriage (safely) and pray for the unsaved spouse. (1 Cor 7:10-17)
Take care for your life and your heart. Remove whatever is not of God. Guard your heart with all due diligence for out of it springs the well of life. (Prov 4:23) What you take into your heart will either bring life or death. Whatever is not of God will bring death, hell and destruction.
Do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires. Song of Songs 8:4
If Joan dated and married Connor, a man who was not her soul mate, because she neither sought to discern that she was to wait for Aaron, it would be a miss. Aaron, her soul mate would need to be matched with someone else. This is a miss and injustice and alters destinies and misaligns God’s best plans and purposes.
Marrying the wrong mate can change destiny plans:
1. The children that were to be born to you.
2. Where you live – city, state, nation – location is everything.
3. Your destiny being established in God’s perfect will.
4. A mismatched spouse may oppose your destiny for various reasons, as the enemy devises strategies . God is able to cause all things to work together for the good. Doing so can bring many changes to a path, whereby it is out of order. If people marry out of time and season by dating and marrying out of God’s perfect will, there can be great destiny gaps.
What is the remedy?
1. Know His Word and seek His face for His will in a mate.
2. Inquire, hear and obey.
3. Pray and be patient.
4. Fast to receive confirmation that you are to date that person – and then confirmation to marry. Fasting and confirmation is very important for receiving confirmation from another person who hears from the Lord. Bring all words back to the Lord for His final confirmation.
5. Walk in uncompromising purity.
Remember the devil would like to destroy your destiny and this is a most important part of your life.
JUSTICE IS TO RECEIVE ALL GOD HAS FOR YOU.
IF YOU DON’T RECEIVE ALL GOD HAS FOR YOU – ITS INJUSTICE.
6. Make a detailed list of what you desire in a mate. List it out. God has put eternity in your heart and placed many of your heart’s desires of what you want and need in a mate.
7. Ask God for instructions, dreams and visions regarding this mate and that the Lord would keep and hold him and give dreams and visions also and resolve to be patient and wait until the appointed time when the Lord brings you together.
8. Trust and follow the Lord. He is good. He does not fail. He would that you would have His best.
9. He is always able to work things out for your best, even better than you hope, dream and imagine.
10. When you get confirmation to date, go at God’s pace and in God’s way. Maintain honor, respect and purity.
11. Live a NO COMPROMISE life in purity and honor and accountability to God.
12. Ask God to lead you to your PAIR.
What is a PAIR? Pairs are a reflection of the mirror image of the other. They are pairs of alike with alike, personality type with personality type and same with same. These are not boring pairings, because there is joyful fascination due to miraculous similarities.
It’s vital to search out – who you are. Are you musical? Is the person of interest also musical in a similar way? Do your giftings match? Do you both operate in high order and honor to love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ? Do you both forgive easily? Growth is important for all people and all mates, but identifiers must be strong and clear on the onset in getting to know one another.
Inquire of God first to get His consent regarding a dating relationship. Determine continually if there are alignments and order in alikeness. If it’s clear there is a strong match, continue as God grants His blessing. It is godly order to wait to date until you are introduced to YOUR PERFECT PAIR! It may take longer than you think or would prefer, but it is the golden path.
Identifiers that determine whether there is strong alikeness are: personalities, preferences, goals, visions, dreams, gifts, calls and mantles. They should be so close in commonalities that it is uncanny. Do you both ask questions? Are you both evangelists? Are you both highly intuitive and pay attention to detail? Are you both creative analysts? Are you both honoring and givers of money, service and encouragement? These and other factors reveal the pure match and best and pair matches of God.
Getting acquainted with others in group settings by asking questions of importance is the best way to determine whether there is enough alikeness to prove your pair match. By building relationships in this manner, you can determine common ground, interests and personality reflectivity. Do you have enough admirable similarities? Make observations by discussion to know if you may or may not be the seed and seed alignment as Adam and Eve were. They were so identical you could hardly tell them apart. They had very few differences. Adam was male and Eve was female. They both liked animals, but Eve found flowers to be the most glorious of all the Creator’s creation, while Adam preferred the trees.
They were identical to the tee, except for some minor differences. They were so alike, it was as if they were cut from the same pattern. This is the telling factor of the pair selection of God.
Are you so alike it is miraculous?
Ask God to lead you to the relationship whereby you experience the “seed” pairing He intended. You should see your pair as if they were the better version of yourself – your better half. The alikeness is not boring, but exciting. In this way, you have more to talk about, more to experience together in common interests, and enjoy a greater heart connection. Body chemistry is a final witness, not the only identifier!
Opposites Attract is not the pathway of God’s plan and purpose for marriage because it is opposites. Opposites have more injustice and disagreements, disunity and disharmony. They can oppose each others’ interests, callings and mindsets because there is misalignment and disagreement in basic areas. This usually takes a high toll as it wears and tears at the relationship, leading to a breakdown in areas of the marriage partnership.
Alike. Alike. Alike is the path to go.
Uniqueness is prevalent in each individual, but same with same and like with like and like-minded should be so close with the two of them, they would be called “two seeds in a planter.” They are so alike that they are identical with only a slight variation. This would be akin to two maple trees together that have trunks, branches and leaves that differ slightly, but they are both maple trees. While two oak trees are together in their own planter, two elm trees are also together in their own planter.
In God’s divine order – all have pairs, not spares.
All are mated in God’s divine order and the consent of Heaven. It would seem impossible to match two like seeds from different cities, states or nations, but God does it in perfection! He cannot be underestimated! He sends mates together, but they must order their lives, days and inquiries to stop or go as God leads. This submission and obedience to God, leads to the highest destiny alignments in Christ.
Frequencies
God designed all of creation to carry frequencies of various kinds. Two people designed to be pair mates have the same frequency. Their “frequency of being” is exact – a match. No other two people alive carry that frequency. This is why pairs are aligned to God’s specifications and carry the dominion of God in the same, identical way. A pair brings great Glory to God when they meet, date and marry.
Therefore, honor God by inquiring of Him as to the ONE to date. Let Him lead you to your perfect pair, and leave the spares for their own pairs. Your pair is written in your destiny book in Heaven. (Ps 139:19)
ASK GOD FOR YOUR PAIR, RATHER THAN COMPROMISING TO DATE A SPARE. WHY WASTE TIME?
